SULU ORGANICS®
Product name: Flax Seed Oil
Processed method: cold pressed
oil comes in BPA free natural plastic jug
all containers are sealed
Flaxseed oil, also known as linseed oil, comes from the seeds of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum, L.). This natural oil is highly recommended for the general well being and whole body nutrition and is considered to be nature's richest source of omega-3 fatty acids.
Flaxseed oil contains a number of vitamins such as B1, B2, C, E and carotene, a form of vitamin A. The oil also contains omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids, zinc, iron and trace minerals such as magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and calcium in addition to being a good source of omega-3 fatty acids.
Flaxseed oil provides approximately 50 - 60% omega-3 fatty acids in the form of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). That is more than is contained in fish oil, but the body is not very efficient at converting ALA into the omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oils.
